Lee's Ejenakevwe to Continue "Sassy Science Series" at Public Library
Cleveland, TN (11/03/2026) —
Dr. Andrew Ejenakevwe will continue the "Sassy Science Series" at the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at noon.
Ejenakevwe will present "Entropy: Friend or Foe?" In his talk he will explore questions about the second law of thermodynamics from a scientific and biblical perspective. According to Ejenakevwe, he will highlight the fascinating connections between thermodynamics, understanding of the universe, and the biblical worldview.
"We are excited to have Dr. Ejenakevwe present for the Sassy Science Series," said Kathy Davini, adult programming coordinator at the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library. "It is always a great opportunity to have Lee professors bring interesting topics to this program."
Ejenakevwe, an assistant professor of engineering in the Wright School of Engineering and Computer Science, teaches thermodynamics and dynamics. Before joining Lee, he completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oklahoma, focusing on building energy efficiency and control strategies. He also taught Air Conditioning Systems Design.
He also served as a lecturer at the University of Nigeria, where he taught thermal engineering, advanced heat transfer, advanced strength of materials, thermodynamics, and theory of elasticity.
Ejenakevwe received a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from the University of Nigeria.
The Tuesday talk is free and open to the public and will be held in the Flex Room of the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library, located at the corner of Church Street and Eighth Street.
