Lee University senior nursing major Kylie Estrada recently presented research at the Annual Southeastern Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (SAEOPP) McNair/Student Support Services (SSS) Scholars Research Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

The National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) annual program recognizes high performing student athletes across college rugby. Growing by 60% since last year, the Scholastic All-American list includes 238 women and 522 men from over 148 schools, including 14 from the Lee University Women's Rugby team.

Lee University student Samuel Duarte was recently named the recipient of the 2021 Crosby Scholarship. The award was presented by Lee Chancellor Dr. Paul Conn during one of the university's chapel services. The Crosby Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Dr. Henry Crosby, a close friend of Conn and his wife Darlia. Faculty members nominate a young man entering his junior year for the scholarship. The award recipient is then chosen from the nominations by a scholarship committee, and the scholarship is awarded in the scholar's junior and senior years.
