Lee University's Percussion Ensemble to Perform Tuesday

Cleveland, TN (11/05/2026) — The Lee University School of Music will present its Percussion Ensemble, directed by Dr. Andy Harnsberger, in concert on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Pangle Hall, located at the corner of Church Street and Central Avenue.

The performance will feature selections such as "Dots and Dashes" by Dustin Schulze, "Stardust" by Clark Hubbard, "Ruckus of Ravens" by Gordon Stout, and "Created New World" by Lee alumnus Elijah Caligiuri.

The ensemble performs a wide variety of music written expressly for percussion, giving students the opportunity to explore diverse styles, including contemporary genres, world music, and improvisation. Its repertoire ranges from chamber works for three or four performers to larger compositions featuring numerous instruments.

Harnsberger, professor of percussion, is an in-demand recitalist and clinician who presents clinics and master classes at universities across the country and internationally, sometimes visiting as many as 40 universities per year. He is also a performing artist and clinician for Malletech Instruments and Mallets, Remo Drum Heads, Sabian Cymbals Ltd., and Grover Pro Percussion.

The event is free, non-ticketed, and open to the public. Livestream viewing will also be available at leeu.live.
