Lee University's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Set for Nov. 13

Cleveland, TN (11/04/2026) — Lee University will host its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature cookie decorating, hot cocoa, and live music in front of the Science and Math Complex, located at the corner of Ocoee Street and Billy Graham Avenue.

"More than just a countdown to illumination, the annual Christmas tree lighting is the moment that the campus and the Cleveland community truly become one - drawn together to celebrate the birth of our Savior and the spirit of the season," said Glenda Free, administrative coordinator for Lee's Office of Student Connections and Engagement.

The evening will include performances by "Jet Lag," a small jazz ensemble, and the North Cleveland Church of God Children's Choir.

Attendees can also drop off their Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes at the tree lighting.

This event is free and open to the public. Guests may park in any of the surrounding lots.
