Lee Nursing Names New Bradley Scholars
Cleveland, TN (11/04/2026) — Lee University nursing students Stephanie Bates, Caitlin Crabtree, Kinley Fry, Isabella Hammonds, Jasmine Knight, Chloe Thompson, Lauren Weiss, and Madison Winfrey have been named this year's recipients of the Bradley Scholars Nursing Scholarship, an initiative of Bradley Medical Center (BMC).
"The Bradley Scholars program represents a true investment in the future of our local healthcare," said Tammy Seay, chief nursing officer of Bradley Medical Center. "By supporting Lee University nursing students early in their academic journey and guiding them into careers at Bradley Medical Center, we are building a sustainable pipeline of skilled nurses dedicated to serving our community."
Each student will receive $15,000 per year for one to two years and commit to working at BMC for three years upon graduation, passing the NCLEX, and receiving licenses as registered nurses.
"Receiving this scholarship is a huge blessing!" said Hammonds, a junior nursing major. "I am excited about this opportunity, and I look forward to seeing how I grow and learn from this experience."
The scholarship reflects the continued partnership between Lee's School of Nursing and Bradley Medical Center in preparing future nurses to serve the Cleveland community.
"We are incredibly grateful for our outstanding clinical partners and honored that Bradley Medical Center has chosen to invest in our students and nursing program through this scholarship," said Dr. Amy Jo Perry, dean of the School of Nursing. "This opportunity reflects the strong reputation for excellence our students and graduates have earned. Most importantly, we are proud to see our graduates giving back to the community they serve through their work as professional nurses in Cleveland."
